Ear Technologies Philippines, Inc. (Ear Technologies), was organized in 2003 and was formally established in 2004 by a group of duly-trained Otolaryngologists practicing in the northern part of the Philippines.

    As these practitioners had to previously  order hearing aids from the country's capital in Metro Manila, they were limited to units that were made available to them by the distributors and their patients never got to try the different hearing aid models that were then available in the market. T   hese practioners soon realized that the hearing-impaired deserved better education, access and service for their special needs and unanimously felt the need for a more effective and cost-efficient way of making hearing instruments available in the locality.
